Welcome to Horse Riding Life (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using our website and participating in any of our horse riding, training, or related services (the “Services”), you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our Services.

HORSE RIDING LIFE LLC HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT, LIABILITY WAIVER, AND MEDIA RELEASE

This Agreement is entered into on the date signed below by and between Horse Riding Life LLC, its owners, trainers, employees, volunteers, representatives, successors, affiliates, agents, and assigns (collectively referred to herein as the “Stable” or “Trainer”), and the undersigned participant (“Participant”), and if Participant is a minor, the minor’s parent or legal guardian (collectively referred to herein as “Participant”).

1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Participant understands that horse-related activities, including but not limited to riding, handling, grooming, observing, and being present around horses (collectively, “Equestrian Activities”), involve significant inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Unpredictable equine behavior (e.g., biting, kicking, bucking, bolting, rearing, shying, etc.)
  • Injuries resulting from falling or being thrown
  • Tripping, collisions, or contact with other horses or fixed objects
  • Hazards from weather, terrain, footing, and environmental conditions
  • Equipment failure or improper tack
  • Limited access to immediate emergency medical care

Participant voluntarily assumes all risks of injury, illness, death, property damage, or loss associated with participation in Equestrian Activities, whether caused by the negligence of the Stable or otherwise.

2. WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Participant does hereby release, waive, and forever discharge Horse Riding Life LLC and its affiliates from any and all claims, demands, damages, costs, liabilities, and legal actions arising out of or related to Equestrian Activities, including but not limited to claims for personal injury, death, or property damage, including claims arising from the ordinary negligence of the Stable.

Participant also agrees not to sue or bring any legal action against the Stable for any reason arising out of participation in any equine-related activities.

3. INDEMNIFICATION

Participant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Stable and any landowner or facility where lessons or activities take place (now or in the future), from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or resulting from Participant’s conduct, presence, or participation in any equestrian activity.

4. MINOR PARTICIPANTS

If the Participant is under 18, the undersigned parent or legal guardian represents that they have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement on behalf of the minor. They acknowledge and accept all terms and conditions of this Agreement and agree to be bound by them.

5. EMERGENCY MEDICAL TREATMENT

In the event of an emergency, the undersigned grants permission for Horse Riding Life LLC staff or emergency personnel to seek or administer medical treatment for the Participant. The undersigned agrees to be financially responsible for any and all medical treatment administered.

Please list any known allergies, medical conditions, and emergency contacts on the attached medical form.

6. PHOTO, VIDEO, AND SOCIAL MEDIA RELEASE

Participant grants full permission to Horse Riding Life LLC to use photographs, videos, and other media of the Participant, their horse(s), and their guests, taken during any lesson or session, for the purpose of marketing, education, promotion, and commercial use on any platform including but not limited to websites, social media, brochures, advertisements, and YouTube content.

This release includes both riders and non-riders who are present on-site. No financial compensation will be provided for the use of media. If Participant wishes to opt out, a written request must be submitted prior to the start of the session.

7. GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. If operations expand to another state (e.g., Connecticut), this waiver shall remain valid and enforceable under applicable state laws. Any disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction where the activity took place.

8. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This Agreement constitutes the full and complete understanding between the parties. It supersedes any prior agreements or representations. No amendments shall be valid unless in writing and signed by both parties.
